Full Day Gem Discovery tour (Ratnapura)

An exciting tour that will take you to the scenic Ratnapura area and show you the mneers life work and their love with gems. You will also visit the Gems market and see the religious places in Rtnapura.

Tour program

We will pick you up from any hotel or residence in Colombo and drive you to Ratnapura (101 Kilometers) enroute you will stop at a tea factory and visit the tea plantation and process. On arrival at Ratnapura we will visit a Gem mine where you can see the workers straining gems from sand. You wil have a chance to see the life of workers and visit the gem market where purchases of precious and semi precious gems is being done on the street.

We will stop at a local restaurant for lunch and drive to Bopath Ella  water falls and Kirindi Ella as we reach the afternoon we will drive you to the Diva Guhava cave temple and drive you back to Colombo.
